Why Illinois?

The quality of the engineering school and the education that I would receive.

What has been your best experience at Illinois?

Meeting new people.

Favorite part about being an engineering student?

The abundance of opportunities.

Why did you join EA?

I was in an accelerated program in elementary and middle school that introduced me to engineering. This program encouraged me to explore engineering concepts, which initiated my interest in the field. Through Engineering Ambassadors, I have the opportunity to encourage other young kids to be interested in engineering in the same way that I was.

What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree?

Once you know what you want to do, don't stop working for it.

What do you plan on doing post-graduation?

I'm still not graduating for a few years, but I plan on having a career in the industry after graduation.
