Research/Work Experience: I am working as a Resident Adviser at Wassaja Hall.

Other campus activities: I'm also involved in Engineering Council - Future Enrichment Opportunities, the National Residence Hall Honorary, Engineers Without Borders, and the Indian Student Association.

Why did you join EA? I wanted to become a better leader and a better communicator. I also wanted to reach out to younger people and show them how cool engineering actually is.

What’s your favorite part of being an engineering student? Being able to make a real, tangible change in the world by applying what I learn inside the classroom.

What made you come to the University of Illinois? I chose Illinois because of the cultural atmosphere and the professional opportunities for Civil Engineers.

What has been your best experience at Illinois? Getting to know many people form different walks of life and learning from them.

What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree? It can get tough sometimes, but if you keep your eye on the ball and have faith in yourself, everything will be alright.

What do you plan on doing after graduation? I plan on pursuing my studies further. Going to graduate school to study law or MBA or MSc in Engineering.
