Why Illinois?
I chose to come to Illinois because of the renowned engineering department and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Program. I also enjoyed the beautiful campustown, study and social culture of the students, and the innovative and inclusive experiences
What has been your best experience at Illinois?
Having the opportunity to attend career fairs at the Illini Union! It is super cool and fun to be able to grow professionally and get the chance to talk to so many of the top corporations in the country
Favorite part about being an engineering student?
The complex problem-solving and teamwork/leadership skills I gain through project work, class assignments, and connecting with fellow students, TAs and professors
Why did you join EA?
I enjoy being a mentor to younger people, especially those aspiring to become engineers one day. I want to help change the conversation of engineering and teach basic concepts in engineering through my knowledge and experiences
What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree?
Be prepared to do lots and lots of work!
What do you plan on doing post-graduation?
I hope to be a software engineer at a large tech firm or financial banking firm and use my technical skills and expertise in providing real-world solutions
