What motivated you to be a part of EA?
EA was one of the most fulfilling, valuable experiences I had as an undergraduate.
When the opportunity arose to “return home” and support the students and their mission, I couldn’t refuse!
What is your long-term goal for EA?
I would like EA to continue to thrive and grow to become the professional engineering outreach and skill development organization here.
The students’ holistic approach to engineering + education and excellent communication skills make for amazing students, engineers, and human beings.
What is your favorite part about working at Illinois?
My favorite part about working at UIUC is serving the departments, organizations, and student bodies that formed who I am.
What has been your best experience at Illinois?
Seeing the growth and development of organizations I was a part of as an undergrad- EA and the Marching Illini included!
What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree?
Pursue your interests, passions, and dreams!
Recognize that you are unique and have so much to offer to the field.
From there, it’s all about self-drive.
