Why Illinois?

I knew they had a good engineering program and I got in-state tuition.

What has been your best experience at Illinois?

Creating the amazing friendships in my major is one of the best experiences from being at Illinois. Finding such a supportive group of people is essential on such a big campus that can make a tough major manageable.

Favorite part about being an engineering student?

I love how much support I have gotten from the college of engineering. They have given me many opportunities such as teaching positions, great letters of recommendation, and an amazing career service center that helps students with any passion they have!

Why did you join EA?

I wanted to learn communication skills and be able to eloquently express myself - I didn't realize at the time how much more EA had to offer such at outreach, professional development, and a lot of great friends!

What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree?

Keep your purpose at the center of everything you do.

What do you plan on doing post-graduation?

Working, traveling, and eating.
