  • Why Illinois?

Illinois is an amazing school and at least one member of my family has been attending school here for almost twenty years. I wanted to continue that family tradition by attending this stellar university.

What has been your best experience at Illinois?

The amazing friends I have made.

Favorite part about being an engineering student?

The endless amounts of exciting work as well as being surrounded by truly brilliant peers and professors.

    Why did you join EA?

I have always enjoyed teaching and interacting with students. I also believe that students should be encouraged to pursue engineering degrees. EA was the perfect opportunity to do two of those things I have always enjoyed while also supporting something that I strongly believe in.

What advice would you give to someone interested in pursuing a STEM degree?

Take lots of math classes, learn to think logically, and never be afraid to fail at something the first time you try it.

What do you plan on doing post-graduation?

I am not entirely sure yet, but I would like to pursue a masters before entering into industry.
